Apple is not yet done with 2014. After unveiling the new iPhone 6 and Apple Watch, reports claim the company is set to unveil major new products in October, including a new iPad.
Citing sources with reliable information, AppleInsider claims the tech giant will unveil the latest iPads next month, just like last year when it introduced the iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina display.
The 2014 iPad Air and iPad mini are rumored to feature Apple’s Touch ID fingerprint sensor, as well as the same A8 processor found in iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
Also rumored to debut later this year is the latest free OS X update called Yosemite, which will work seamlessly into iOS 8 mobile operating system.
There is also a likelihood for Apple to unveil a redesigned MacBook Air with Retina display and ultra-thin form factor, but the launch may be pushed back to 2015, along with an updated iMac and Apple TV.
